The Three Heroines - Original

"The inspiration for this painting came from a little daydream I had - I saw the three girls meeting as young teenagers in a dreamscape; Wendy, Dorothy and Alice relaying their experiences to each other. I set about weaving their stories into the same piece in the background, moving out from their own realities onto a path leading into their respective magical worlds.
As many of you know, I adore all three books and it was a joy to revisit the three heroines of the stories albeit in a different way."- Kerry Darlington
